1. After my junior year in college I went to New Orleans with a program called 100 Homes in 100 Days and helped rebuild people’s houses that had been wiped out during Hurricane Katrina.
2. I have a kitten named Jem (after Jem Finch). He had broken his elbow like Jem before I adopted him. He’s better now!
3. I have the record for most goals in water polo at Hoffman Estates High School.
4. I played on a men’s travel water polo team after college.
5. I sang in a band in college; I still record.
6. I cannot cut anything with scissors to save my life; I’m extremely left-handed.
7. I backpacked through Europe; I went to Belgium, Amsterdam and a concentration camp in Berlin.
8. I’m really excited for “Dexter” and “Homeland” to start; I’ve been watching both since their first seasons.
9. I can rollerblade, write and do the worm backwards better than I can forwards.
10. I am the oldest of six siblings; my three youngest siblings are triplets.
