To kick off the season, the boys took a trip up to Forest View about two weeks ago for conditioning. First the team completed a high rope course at Lake Forest Education Center and then took a trip to Lake Forest beach for conditioning followed by a team cook out. The team will be taking a trip to Benedictine University to take a campus tour, watch the men’s soccer team play and then get a chance to talk with their head coach and players. Coach Alex Stavropoulos says, “Being my first year as the varsity head coach I’m really trying to incorporate regular team building outings to help our group grow closer while providing the boys opportunities to get out into the world and see/experience things they might not have ever had the chance to do.”
