All Time Low played at the House of Blues on Oct. 16. The band performed songs off their newest album, classics and songs that they had never performed live before.
The boys are at it again. After just releasing their fifth studio album “Don’t Panic” on Oct. 9, All Time Low hits the road once again on The Rock Show At The End Of The World tour.
This tour hit Chicago at the House of Blues on Oct. 16 with opening bands Hit The Lights, The Downtown Fiction and The Summer Set.
Walking in with high expectations, this show did not disappoint. From the second the lights went down, to the chanting of “one more song!” at the end of the show, there was never a dull moment.
Playing the longest set they have ever played, All Time Low had a good mix of old songs and new songs, and even included a few songs they have never played live before.
Long time fans went crazy at hearing these never-before played favorites.
Whether someone was an old fan or a new fan, everyone could agree that the live versions of their newest songs from “Don’t Panic” were the best part of the night.
Mixed with an incredible light show, All Time Low had no trouble keeping fans off their feet as they went from song to song, energy building with each note.
Of course, there wasn’t a shortage of infamous vulgar jokes coming from guitarist Jack Barakat and lead singer Alex Gaskarth. No matter how ridiculous the jokes get, funny or not, fans can’t help but laugh at the musicians and their crazy antics.
The crowd gets rougher and wilder at each All Time Low show, and this one wasn’t any different.
Fans couldn’t help but be completely drenched in sweat when leaving the main floor. Everyone wants to push their way to the front hoping to make eye contact with one of the four members, but most fans just try to enjoy the show no matter where they are in the crowd.
The boys in All Time Low are no strangers to touring and really know how to put on a good show. If someone left that night without the words “That was awesome” rolling off their tongues, there is something wrong with them.
